This song is about addiction - but written as if Addiction is an actual person. Always in your face, persistent, testing and tempting with the underlying possibility that if you hang around together long enough, you'll never get to grow old.

This is my first time attempting to write a song using a 12 bar blues format (in the key of F).

Fully recorded using Garageband on MacOS.
I used 33 Tracks altogether.

16 Instrument Tracks: 1 x Auto drummer, 2 x Acoustic 12 string, 4 x Lead guitar (Fender Telecaster), 5 x Rhythm guitar tracks, 1 x Bass guitar, 1 x Organ and 2 x 1970s style Clavinets.

17 Vocal tracks: 1 x Master vocal, 6 x Backing vocals and 10 x Backing vocals doing the Ooohs.

All stock GB Plugins used except the Kazrog True Iron Transistor Emulator plugin which I used on every track.

The video was painstakingly fun to do. Filmed multiple times by myself on a GoPro Hero 7 Black. Footage compiled in iMovie on iOS and finished off in iMovie on MacOS.

And yes... I was on inline skates and I'll leave it to your imagination on how I was holding the camera hands free ; )
